Earlier this week, UFC light-heavyweight Anthony Smith threw in a hypothetical matchup between UFC veteran Jim Miller and global star Brock Lesnar. Although there was a huge discrepancy in their weight categories, Lionheart claimed it was a 50-50 fight and bet his chances on Miller catching a submission. As such, Jim Miller weighed in on Smith’s take and shared his honest thoughts about a fantasy fight with Lesnar.

On UFC Vegas 84 media day, Jim Miller agreed alongside Anthony Smith in his chances to beat Brock Lesnar. However, he acknowledged it would be a scary fight. But, he analyzed the mentality of the fighters and remained confident. Here is what he said:

It would be scary as sh**. I’ve trained with plenty of heavyweight world champ grapplers and stuff like that and subbed them out. So, I know if I can isolate something, I could kimura Brock Lesnar. I know that I could. Yeah, we'll take it, 50-50.

But Miller himself tends to agree with him. Further, Miller reasoned it by digging into a fighter’s mentality – being confident, taking anyone, anywhere, and such.

Anthony Smith continued to reason his take, weighing Jim Miller’s chances of locking in a submission. Here is what he said:

Not two. 1, maybe? If Jim gets ahold of his neck or something. Maybe, I think that’s a 50/50.  I’m, maybe I have so much love for Jim Miller that I can’t imagine him not catching Brock Lesnar in a submission. That guy is nasty on the ground. Definitely Jim Miller (wins) on the street.
