Chael Sonnen is absolutely brutal on the microphone. MMA legend Tito Ortiz found this out the hard way during their clash in Bellator MMA.

If there’s one person you don’t want to go against when it comes to trash-talking, it is former UFC title contender Chael Sonnen. The “Bad Guy” never shied away from throwing brutal disses at his opponents and was one of the most entertaining fighters of all time.

During his clash against Tito Ortiz at Bellator 170, in the pre-fight press conference, Sonnen threw a low blow against Ortiz using his past relationship with porn star Jenna Jameson as material for his “nasty” joke. “Tito always says I’m using my mouth to get my opportunities. The only person that I know that made money using their mouth is his ex-wife,” said Sonnen.

Ortiz could not believe that Sonnen went there. It was very evident that the veteran was fuming with anger after Sonnen’s joke. “Just to correct you, there was no marriage. You’re a fu**ing punk, dude. That’s what you call class, right here, compared to no class,” replied Ortiz.

Sonnen seemed to be unfazed by all the gasps in the crowd and the fact that he had probably gone too far with his joke. “That was a nasty line by me. They don’t call you the Bad Guy for nothing,” said Sonnen as he laughed it off.

Tito Ortiz’s ex-partner responds to Chael Sonnen’s comments

Jenna Jameson, who once was in a relationship with the former UFC light heavyweight champion was quick to respond to Sonnen’s “nasty” comments about her. “First dumb thing I’ve heard Chael say…it’s like stating the sky is blue and expecting that to be a revelation,” wrote Jenna in her tweet.

She also followed her initial tweet with another one clarifying that she was not upset by Sonnen’s comments. “To everyone thinking, Chael Sonnen’s remark at the press conference for his fight with Tito bothered me, it didn’t…he stated the obvious,” wrote Jenna.

Ortiz had the last laugh in his rivalry against Sonnen as he managed to beat the “bad guy” via a rear-naked choke in their fight.
