Charles Oliveira has landed at Abu Dhabi airport ahead of his fight at UFC 280. Oliveira will be facing Islam Makhachev at the main event of the PPV for the vacant lightweight championship. The former lightweight champion would be looking forward to recapturing the lightweight championship title for the second time. 

Oliveira took his Twitter to announce his arrival in Abu Dhabi. He posted a video of him with his team and luggage captioned ‘Daddy arrived’.

Not long ago, Makhachev tweeted regarding Oliveira that the latter might bail out from the fight at the last moment. Makhachev tweeted, “2 weeks before the fight, Charles and his team not in Abu Dhabi yet., should I start worrying?”

Now with Oliveira’s arrival in Abu Dhabi, The Dagestani must have had a sigh of relief. Previously, Oliveira was stripped of his title due to missing weight during the weigh-in for his fight against Justin Gaethje. Hence, “Do Bronx” would come with his full force to win the belt again. However, it won’t be an easy task for him as Islam Makahachev might be the toughest fighter that Oliveira has ever faced.

Anderson Silva, appearing recently on FULL SEND PODCAST predicted the winner for Oliveira vs Makhachev. Anderson said, “Of course Charles ‘do Bronx’ gonna win bro”.
