Conor McGregor has been out of action for about 30 months. Reeling from his leg injury, the former champion made claims of returning in June. This is for the International Fight Week in Las Vegas, which he teased recently. So what does the successful business entrepreneur do in the meantime?

When not flaunting his multi-million dollar yacht or gifting his longtime partner Dee Devlin luxury cars, he has other plans. A recently surfaced video shows the fighter gifting a luxury Rolex to Black Forge Inn head chef Ed Raethorne, for his 50th birthday. In a later post on the chef’s IG account, the Irishman said – 

A big happy birthday. Happy 50th birthday to you...I want to thank you for all the amazing work you do, we are very grateful to have you here. I have a big gift for you. I want to give it to you on your 50th birthday. You’ve joined the Rolex club.

Worth about $200 million in 2024, McGregor boasted a ranking estimate of $8.6 million per minute in the ring in 2021. Attributing endorsement deals with Reebok, Beats by Dre, Burger King, DraftKings, Monster Energy, and Tidl. Alongside, he heads a plethora of Dublin Bars, along with the award-winning ‘Black Forge Inn’.

According to 2021 listings (Jemi Ventures), the pub lost 432,000 Euros last few years, which equates to over USD 600,000. But despite the turmoil, McGregor has been very fond of the establishment and his chef. Subsequently, the pub continues to draw celebs even now.

UFC fighter Conor McGregor sits on the zenith of stardom, even away from fighting status. McGregor’s Dublin bar, the Black Forge Inn, celebrated its head chef’s birthday recently. On Thursday, the Dubliner himself popped down to the premises to gift the man a luxury Rolex watch.

The bar still tops the country’s list. As such, the fighter often raves about his establishment on social media. But McGregor’s fascination with watches itself is a whole other chapter.

Recently, the fighter caught much flack on his watch conclave with Cristiano Ronaldo – the General Entertainment Authority (GEA)’s official ambassador for Riyadh Season.

But despite fan jeering, the fighter maintains an unattainable collection of luxury brand watches. Check out a few tidbits of the fighter’s watch collection –

Two years back, his $1 million-worth ‘The Astronomia Baguette’ watch had rocked everybody. The watch touted the Jacob & Co watchmaking expertise logo.

He is more fond of his Rolex Day-Date 228396TBR. It comes in platinum with a bezel set with 40 baguette-cut diamonds; Rolex’s rarest timepieces, with a retail price of $125,700.

Back in 2017, bantering with Floyd Mayweather, the fighter touted his Rolex Yacht-Master II 116688. A watch he has sported several times.

Other collections include Patek Philippe World Time 513,1J, a Chopard L.U.C. Quattro Tourbillon. He is also fond of his Patek Philippe 5905P, touting his Irish-green colors. The Rolex Day Date 128348RBR and Rolex ‘Eye of the Tiger’ 116588TBR are his other favorites.
