Dana White watches the Boston Celtics play

Dana White was never going to miss the much-anticipated Game 7 of the Playoff Series between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks of this year’s NBA.

UFC President Dana White recently flew down to Boston and watched the Celtics take on the Bucks at the TD Garden in a must-win game 7 of the NBA Playoffs. The Celtics won the game with ease as their star player emerged as the best player of the game with 23 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds to secure a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Dana walked into the TD Arena with huge cheers for the Boston native. White was able to witness his team show character against the defending NBA champions, The Milwaukee Bucks. Celtics now win the series 4-3 to qualify for the next round. Boston’s team won the game 109-81. White would have loved to see his team win against a team that has Giannis Antetokounmpo. Watch Dana enter the TD Garden in the video below:

White has always been a fan of the Boston Celtics and has been caught watching games courtside along with megastars. White is always welcomed in the TD Garden with a huge cheer from the fans. The UFC president might just as well pay a visit to the Arena to scout his next location for a UFC PPV card. A huge heavyweight showdown might just be around the corner as Jon Jones returns to the octagon to potentially face former heavyweight king Stipe Miocic. With the very few COVID restrictions across the country, Dana might just look to bring the heavyweight showdown to the city of Boston.

How Dana White was chased away from Boston

White was born in Manchester, Connecticut in 1969. Before becoming the most successful combat sports promoter in the world, Dana used to own gyms in the city of Boston. He spent a lot of his early years in Massachusetts. Boston is known for the mafia which was run by Whitey Bulger in the 1980s. While Dana was leading a peaceful life in Boston, it was Whitey Bulger’s mafia boys who ended up forcing White to move out of the town.

Dana has mentioned in several interviews how he was threatened by the mob. Dana White revealed that during his days of owning a gym, one of Whitey Bulger’s “right hand” walked in and said that the UFC boss owed him $2500. For a struggling Dana back in the day, it was a Himalayan task to pay such an amount. “They [the mob] said, ‘You owe us the money tomorrow by 1 o’clock. I literally hung up the phone, picked up the phone, and called Delta and bought a one-way ticket to Vegas,” said White in an interview about how the Mob changed his life.
