Henry Cejudo And Aljamain Sterling couldn’t wait for UFC 288 as their face off at the ceremonial weigh-in almost turned physical.

Former double champ Henry Cejudo will be taking on the current UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling this Saturday. But at the weigh-in, the camera caught several acts, which gave fight fans a glimpse of what they might expect on fight day. Both fighters gave intense looks during the face-off, which also got physical.
At the ceremonial weigh-in, both fighters offered fans an enthralling preview of their highly anticipated bout. Henry Cejudo was the first to take the stage. The defending champion was next to come onto the stage, following which both fighters got into each other’s faces.
The moment Joe Rogan announced Aljamain Sterling‘s weight, Funk Master came face-to-face against the Olympic Gold Medalist. UFC president Dana White, as usual, had the best seats in the house, watching the entertaining face-off up close. Both fighters hurled vocal jabs at each other for a few seconds.
Words were getting exchanged continuously, and Dana White kept his hand raised between both of them. This is when things became tense, and the face-off turned physical. That’s when the UFC President had to intervene, as the current and former champion almost got into a brawl.

On ceremonial weigh-in day, the furious verbal sparring between them almost escalated into something more intense. The fierce rivalry between Triple C and Funk Master was seen on stage. Both fighters maintained eye contact and continued with the words.
Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo kept exchanging words. Things got heated when Sterling raised his hand towards Cejudo, prompting the former double champ to shove the reigning champion’s hands away. The Funk Master responded by shoving Henry, which is when Dana White and other officials intervened.
After this, Cejudo talked to Joe Rogan, telling the audience about what can be expected from him on May 6 at UFC 288. ‘Triple C’ said, “Guess what Joe, Tonight I’m going to Grandma’s I’m gonna enjoy some New York style pizza and tomorrow night I’m gonna go eat some Jamaican jerk chicken stay tuned and new.”
This is a comeback fight for Henry Cejudo, as he will be coming out of retirement after almost three years. It’ll be interesting to witness how Cejudo’s return pans out.
