Executing a 69-second KO over Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295, the 14-3 Tom Aspinall bagged the interim heavyweight title. Since then, the Briton has been hell-bent on securing an undisputed title fight against 265lbs G.O.A.T Jon Jones. But with top honcho/taskmaster Dana White dismissing him for Jones’ legacy title fight, Aspinall had to scout on elsewhere. Desperate, and on the sidelines, the fighter even settled for a fight with the winner of the UFC 299 bout. Which is between Curtis Blaydes vs. Jailton Almeida.
Jones, on his return, is to conduct his square-off with Stipe Miocic; as was on the original card for UFC 295’s headliner. With no undisputed title contention in sight, Aspinall considers his ‘interim’ title moot. The fighter recently responded to Alex Pereira’s UFC 300 call-out, to fight at the historic card. But, it’s his recent footage that has taken the internet by storm. A surfaced video shows Aspinall driving Strongman Eddie Hall’s tank around.
The tank in question is a demilitarized CVR-T Scimitar, native to the British military. Hall, a close acquaintance of Aspinall, shares many of their latest snippets. Now comes footage of the British MMA star driving it. A prime reaction on X quipped – “Tom Aspinall on his way to UFC headquarters to demand the Jon Jones fight.” This particular diss comes in light of Jones’ latest Twitter rant on the title contender’s unproven legacy as a heavyweight.
The fighter from Team Kaobon MMA has been consequently engaging in many such escapades. After his win, the Englishman went viral for almost breaking a Brazilinator punching machine with an insanely powerful swing. With his latest driving stint, the fighter has undoubtedly gone viral yet again.

Tom Aspinall recently won the interim heavyweight title at UFC 295. But with true heavyweight Jon Jones snubbing his chances at title contention, the 265lber feels his winning status is moot. Many fans and peers, including the likes of veteran commentator Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen, have prompted the same.
With no chance of making a maiden defense or unifying the heavyweight golds, Aspinall has been busy partaking in frivolous activities elsewhere. The fighter recently nudged his crossover boxing aspirations. Now, the Briton transitions to tactical driving.

A handful of fans have thus consequently joked at this being a way of the fighter enforcing his will. Many have even emphatically supported the notion.
Despite a wholesome victory, Aspinall has been sidelined from active participation. Correspondingly, fight fans haven’t taken well to this. While the fighter certainly deserves more indulgence, there have been no slated matchups following his victory.
