Tatiana Suarez once again proved herself after defeating Jessica Andrade at UFC Fight Night. Suarez dominated the first round and submitted her opponent via a perfectly executed guillotine choke. An impressive win over Andrade will guarantee her a shot at the title. Her impressive victory has impressed many UFC fighters and fans including UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
McGregor found the submission impressive and took to Twitter to express his respect for Suarez. He said, “The woman is very, very good. UFC champion material 100%!”. A praise from McGregor who has been a double champion himself in the UFC will be a huge motivation for Suarez going into her next fight.
Suarez remained undefeated, extending her professional win streak to 11 and her seventh in the UFC. Suarez already has an impressive UFC resume, having defeated many formidable opponents. She has finishes against former strawweight champion Carla Esparaza and current flyweight champion Alexa Grasso. Out of her seven victories in the UFC four have come via submission.
She returned after a four-year-long hiatus from the UFC in February and earned a victory against Montana De La Rosa via submission. Suarez is a talented fighter with a bright future. She is a strong wrestler with good striking skills. She is also very tough and determined. Fans are confident that she will get a shot at the strawweight title soon.
