Donald Trump surely enjoyed watching the Jorge Masvidal vs Nate Diaz super fight back in 2019. The former President let his thoughts on the fight be known by retweeting Masvidal’s praise about him.
Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal fought each other at UFC 244 with a special guest watching the fight from the front row. Donald Trump, a close friend of Dana White came to watch the fight for the “Baddest Mother F**ker” title. Masvidal, who has never been shy to speak his politics opinion to the media had some high praise for Trump.
“No matter what your views on Trump as a president, the guy’s a bad motherf**ker man,” said Masvidal ahead of the fight. Trump flew to New York to watch two of the biggest superstars fight in the octagon. After witnessing the fight, Trump followed it with a retweet of Masvidal’s praise towards him.
“Great fight Champ!” wrote from his Twitter page. Jorge Masvidal managed to secure the “BMF” title after the fight against Nate Diaz. The Diaz brother was forced to get sidelined after doctor’s stoppage. Masvidal had Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wrap the belt around him at the event.

Donald Trump asked Dana White to pay Jorge Masvidal more money
UFC 244 wasn’t the only PPV that Donald Trump made an appearance. The former President also visited the T-Mobile Arena to watch Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier fight for the third time. When Trump was escorted into the arena by Dana White, Jorge Masvidal dropped by to say hello.
After embracing the fighter, Trump said to Dana White, “You’re a great champ. Give him a lot of money.” Masvidal is one of the biggest stars on the UFC roster. The fighter from Miami is no stranger to politics either. The fighter has often been very vocal about his support to the Republican part in America.
‘Gamebred’ has been a part of several rallies hosted by Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis. The fighter is also very vocal about politics in his social media where he has a huge fan-following. The fan-favorite will return at UFC 287 to fight Gilbert Burns in the co-main event.
