Ferguson has again called out his former rival Nurmagomedov
Throughout his UFC career, Khabib Nurmagomedov was never known to be a good trash talker. He let his performance inside the Octagon do all the talking and create buzz. However, the Dagestani fighter has a very good sense of humor that he rarely puts on display.
Back in 2017 at UFC 209, Khabib Nurmagomedov was set to face Tony Ferguson. Ahead of the fight during the media day, Khabib was asked about what he thought of Tony’s wrestling skills. The interviewer addressed how Tony has a background in wrestling and all has a USA wrestling logo to symbolize it.
Sharing his view on Tony’s tattoo Khabib made a very hilarious comment. He said, “I think he make tattoo for make his self confident oh i am a good wrestler…but I dont think that will help him…if I make tattoo like taekwondo like I am taekwondo Guy…i think its bullshit”
Unfortunately, the fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson at UFC 209 was canceled. What’s even more intriguing is that both the fighters were pitched to fight on five different occasions and every time the match was called off due to some or other reasons.

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson were again pitched to face at UFC 249. During the pre-event press conference, Khabib unintentionally made a hilarious joke.
While explaining why apparently nobody likes Tony Ferguson, khabib said, “I think he is a very good wrestler but he is a stupid guy”. This got the whole crowd laughing.

In another of his hilarious instances, Khabib meets a boy who was unaware of Khabib’s identity. The boy asked Khabib who he was, and replying to the small boy Khabib said, “Nice to meet you my name is Conor McGregor.”
Khabib’s reply made everyone burst out laughing. It took place during the weeks ahead of UFC 229 before the infamous fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.
