However, it significantly influences the 2024 presidential campaign dynamics. Former UFC fighter Derek Brunson used the moment to hilariously troll Colby Covington.

Donald Trump was cageside at UFC 296 with Dana White. Trump came to the event on the insistence of Colby Covington, his diehard fan. However, Covington had a very bad showing at the event. Leon Edwards shut down Covington in four of the five rounds. Moreover, in his octagon interview, Covington diverted attention from his loss to Donald Trump. Interestingly, Trump left Covington midway through Covington’s speech.

With Covington deemed ‘old and slow‘ by UFC CEO Dana White, it is safe to assume that it is the end of title aspirations for Covington.
