The spotlight is on Paddy Pimblett right now. The Liverpudlian made a stunning UFC debut at UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs Till. He defeated Luigi Vendramini with a barrage of punches in the very first round.

Pimblett initially looked like he would struggle, as the toughness of the UFC greeted him right in the face, after Vendramini caught him with plenty of clean strikes, almost knocking him down at one point. However, the Scouser showed toughness, and knocked the Brazilian out in a few minutes.

In a recent interview with the SPORTbible, Paddy Pimblett spoke about the possibility of fighting YouTuber-turned-Boxer Jake Paul in a fight (possibly boxing). ‘The Baddy’ stated that he would take Paul’s “head clean off his shoulders.”

“I’m an MMA fighter first and foremost” – Paddy Pimblett

Pimblett was quoted as saying, “Obviously, I’m an MMA fighter first and foremost. That goes without saying. But If I’m getting offered big money to fight him, I’ll take his head clean off his shoulders. Said it months ago, lad. Said it about a year ago, I think. He is a lot bigger than me as well, to be honest. But as you can see (pulls his cheeks), I can eat, lad. I’m about 185 or around that. I’ll fight him at 185 and I’ll fu****g punch his face right in for him.” [via Sportskeeda]

‘The Baddy’ is expected to make big moves in the UFC. His career graph is turning out to be very similar to that of the iconic Conor McGregor. Like McGregor, Pimblett is also coming off as a former Cage Warriors Fighting featherweight champion. McGregor then joined the UFC, and went on to become a two-division champion.

Paul, on the other hand, recently beat Tyron Woodley via. a narrow split decision to go 4-0 up in his professional boxing career. He is expected to face Woodley in a rematch soon.
