Paddy Pimblett vs Tony Ferguson

One of the hottest and most promising prospects in the UFC right now, the former cage warriors champion made the most out of his debut when he knocked out his opponent in the very first round. After his performance, it was clear that Paddy’s hype is real, and now he has eyes set on some high profiled opponents.

Paddy claimed he would love to fight the former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson, but he wouldn’t do for the money he is getting now. In an interview with James English, he said, “F—k that. I’m not fighting a Top 10 on the money I’m on, lad. Nick Peet was saying he’d like to see me against Tony Ferguson. And, lad, I’d like to see me against Tony Ferguson, but not on the contract I’m on now. F—k that.”

It’s not a secret that even after losing three fights in a row, Ferguson is still one of the biggest draws in the division, “El Cucuy” isn’t currently booked to face anyone, he is taking some time out to prepare for his journey moving forward, a fight against Paddy will be interesting for sure.
