Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley concluded at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Paul remained undefeated with a narrow split decision win over Woodley to go 4-0 up in his pro-boxing career. At the post-fight interview, a rematch was agreed upon. However, there was more to it, as Paul urged Woodley to get an ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattoo, so that he would agree to a rematch.

Elsewhere, Aljamain Sterling, was not happy with Woodley giving up his dignity. He stated that he would never give up his dignity if he was in Woodley’s shoes. However, his nemesis Petr Yan hit out at Sterling claiming that he had lost his dignity “when he cried to get the belt.”

Sterling wrote on Twitter: “Maybe I’m crazy, but I just feel “MY” dignity is worth more than the payday for a rematch like this. Maybe it’s bc I’m not in that situation but it’s like will things really be different? Woodley has all tools in the world, and has been on top with those skills. Different times.“

The last time Sterling and Yan faced it was UFC 259. The match ended in a disqualification, and Sterling won the bantamweight title – the first to win a title via. a disqualification. ‘The Funk Master’ was brutally trolled for his after-match behaviour – which is what Yan pointed out in his latest Tweet.

The pair are set to face off in a rematch on the 30th of October at UFC 267 at Fight Island.
