Rafael Fiziev and Brad Riddell set to fight at UFC’s December. 4 Fight Night event

A striking matchup between Rafael Fiziev and Brad Riddell has been added to the December 4 Fight Night event.

Brad Riddell is set to make a return to the octagon against one of the most elite strikers in the division, Rafael Fiziev. The two lightweights will meet on December 4 at the Fight Night event which will most likely take place in the UFC Apex, Las Vegas. MMA Junkie was the first to report about this matchup. The UFC is yet to announce it officially.

Riddell is coming off a three-fight win streak in the UFC since his debut. His last fight was against Drew Dober at UFC 263 where he won via decision. The “Quake” is yet to get a finish in the UFC but is an entertaining fighter to watch with his display of elite striking. He has a record of 10-1-0 in his professional career.

Rafael Fiziev reveals that he has recieved a contract

Though the promotion is yet to announce the fight officially, Fiziev has revealed on Twitter that he has been offered a contract by the UFC. “Got the fight offer,” wrote “Ataman” on Twitter. Fiziev is coming off a win against Bobby Green at UFC 265. The lightweight is on a four-fight winning streak.

Ever since his debut loss against Magomed Mustafaev, Fiziev has gone on to win four fights consecutively. He is currently ranked #13 in the lightweight rankings. His opponent Riddell is ranked #12. The matchup will be very exciting given the style of these two fighters. So far there have only been two other fights decided for the December 4th fight night event.
