Former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker is a fighter with a very active social media engagement. The Reaper runs one of the most entertaining accounts as he never shies away from showcasing his jovial personality to his fans. The fighter recently uploaded a video on his social media that shows how hilarious he is outside his workspace too.

Anyone that works out knows the feeling of having to earn their cheat meals. Robert is no different from the rest of us. The former champion seems to be very fond of cheesecakes and has no shame on admitting that the dessert drives him to workout. In his latest tweet, Whittaker uploaded a video that his wife captured as he gives himself a pep talk.

“Wife caught me psyching myself up for a workout… don’t judge me…” wrote Whittaker in his tweet. Rob can be seen yelling the ‘mantra’, “If you want that cheesecake, you gotta earn that cheesecake”. Whittaker might have to tighten his diet given the possibility of him moving to the welterweight division. Watch the video below:

In a tweet following his loss to arch rival Israel Adesanya, Robert teased a move to the 170-lb division. Robert is one of the best middleweights of all-time but his losses to the current champion has had the fighter thinking welterweight division would be his next best choice. Whittaker lost to Izzy twice in his career, once by KO and once by unanimous decision. His last fight was for the title at UFC 271.

Whittaker is no stranger to the welterweight division as he started his UFC career as a 170-pounder. Starting his career in the UFC as a welterweight, Bob went 3-2 in his career. In his tweet Bob wrote, “Skinny Rob might be coming sooner than I wanted.” Do you think it would be the right decision for Whittaker to move down a weight class?
