Brendan Schaub blasts Khabib Nurmagomedov! Recently, Jorge Masvidal ambushed Colby Covington outside the Papi Steak Restaurant in Miami, Florida, and hurt his former best friend in his scathing attack. After being reported to the police, Masvidal was arrested facing a count of criminal mischief. It is reported that Covington also pressed charges against Masvidal.
Khabib Nurmagomedov is not happy with the fact that Covington had to get the police involved. According to the former lightweight champion, Colby crossed the lines with his trash talk when he spoke ill of Masvidal’s kids. Nurmagomedov justifies Jorge’s attack. In a recent tweet, Khabib has spoken out in support of the BMF champion.
He wrote, “If you are stronger than someone inside the octagon, it does not mean that you can insult his children. No one has the right to insult someone’s family. Once you have gone down this path, then be ready to back your words,” wrote Nurmagomedov.

I think all welterweights should refuse to fight Colby, just don’t accept fights with him, let him sit without a fight, it will probably significantly affect him and all fighters who even think of insulting families, who are provoking the fighters to look for someone in restaurants to deal with him.”

Brendan Schaub is a former UFC fighter, and he runs a very famous YouTube channel, where he discusses the latest controversies. He took notice of Khabib’s comment, and he blasted him for trying to blacklist Colby from the competition, he said, “What are you doing dude? Always trying to make the headlines with hot takes, right? And I love Khabib but that ain’t a hill to die on. ‘Boycott fighting him.’“
“I have an idea, Khabib, why don’t you get out of retirement and beat Colby. Why don’t you do it the legal way? Khabib, he’s keeping himself relevant, he has his fight league and stuff like that. He said, ‘If Conor beats Makhachev, I’ll come out of retirement.’ All good! Keep the same energy here.”
“I’m with (Khabib) if it was a regular, even street fight, If (Colby) was aware of what’s going on, cool man, you guys handle it how you wanna handle it. But you’ve got all this bad blood and it leaks out of the octagon and do this? Alright, do it, man. But to sucker punch another man is the biggest bi*** sh** in the world,” Schaub concluded.
