The UFC 314 PPV kickoff press conference recently took shape. Surging star Jean Silva wasted no time tearing into practicing ‘flat-earther’ Bryce Mitchell.
The duo will meet at the tail end (third-to-last) on April 12. The fight card is building a lot of hype. The fans waited on next steps and a return of flat-earther Bryce Mitchell. The 145lber recently ran into hot waters for his extreme pro-Hitler anti-semitic rantings. Ever since, Team Fighting Nerds’ Silva has been keen on finishing the job with a jolly hiding. He even brought a globe to mock the flat-earther! When mediator John Morgan had some queries for “Thug Nasty”, Silva shut him down quick.

The crowd at “Sin City” was also in support, booing Mitchell even though he regressed. That, compounded with his rival barking and touting a globe in his face to prove the world was round, went viral fast! Silva also doused that Bryce Mitchell was here because he called for it, and he’s the real star of the show.

At 4-0 UFC, Jean Silva is a proper 2024 season breakout case, much like his whole team. Four out of four of his tenure wins have come in the way of TKO stoppages. His third-round TKO over Drew Dober at UFC Denver went quite viral.
Silva then bagged a TKO win over Melsik Baghdasaryan in Seattle at Climate Pledge Arena to call out his opponent. Mitchell, too, has worked up some fuel for this grudge match; he even pulled out a Karate Combat matchup vs. Ilay Barzilay in favor of this. Per DraftKings Sportsbooks, Fighting Nerd product Silva is a big prop to win as a -375 favorite. Mitchell stands his ground as a +295 underdog for UFC 314. Come this April, the fight can roll in anyone’s favor.
