“Stay off the cocaine”- Darren Till claps back at Israel Adesanya for criticism for celebrating with Tom Aspinall UFC London
Israel Adesanya and Darren Till
Israel Adesanya commented on Darren Till’s celebration with Tom Aspinall in London after Tom’s win. Izzy wanted Darren to ‘Sit down’ and not steal Tom’s moment. Till jumped up the fence with Tom and it looked like Till was having a moment of his own after seeing his home crowd.
Israel who is back home in New Zealand was watching the UFC event with his friends on the telly when they were super excited for Aspenall’s first round victory over Alexander Volkov, who was supposed to be a pretty tough opponent. Tom just ran through him like butter and had a success in a first round submission victory following which Till celebrated with him in the octagon. Izzy was really put off by Till celebrating on the fence and said:
“Sit the f**k down [Till] it’s not your moment. Get the f**k off.” while his friends jokingly said that Till hadn’t had a victory in so long that it’s okay and he should enjoy it in a sarcastic way.
Darren was really quick to respond to the YouTube video of the Stylebender and replied on his Instagram story. “@Stylebender you idiot @TomAspinallOfficial asked me to get on the cage with him, keep looking down on me for my losses brother it’s all good I’ll be here one day you watch… You haven’t looked the best either in ur last few fights stay off the cocaine it’s not healthy for fighters.”
“I don’t doubt him just yet” Israel Adesanya says he would fight Darren Till in the near future
Izzy is always pretty confident and has minimal self doubt or atleast doesn’t leak it if he has some. Adesanya is pretty confident about facing Till in the future saying that Darren would never have the belt until he is around, which is also why he just wants to get it done with.
“Don’t doubt him just yet… It might be something mental he has to deal with, because I don’t think it’s something physical.“
Israel Adesanya says that he isn’t overconfident or underestimating Till but has his trust on his own skills. He goes on to priase Darren’s physical attributes tho and adds that it just might be something mental that took Darren down previously. He also adds that he would wait for Till to work his way to the top and would be ready to face him in his home crowd. Izzy is confident that the Nigerians would fill up the stadium in London.
