“That wasn’t that cool”- Kevin Holland picks between foiling a car thief and an active shooter

Kevin Holland a Middleweight contender in the UFC discusses in detail with Ariel Helwani how he recently went on to save the day at a sushi bar while it turned into an active shooting situation.
Kevin who was ready to rumble was quick on his foot right after he saw two men fighting for a gun on the ground. He said that he walked over to the other side and was about to hit the shooter with a chair but wasn’t sure about it, after which he pulled the guy out, rare naked choked him to sleep and saved the day.
Previously Kevin was also involved in helping bring down a Carjacking criminal a few months ago to which he said, “The carjacking thing was pretty cool ‘cuz I could drive my car pretty fast but um, That one right there [Sushi bar shooter] wasn’t that cool…”. Kevin loved speeding over the limits just with an excuse that he could bring the carjacker down, which he did succeed in doing so but explains on The MMA Hour why the shooting wasn’t as cool.
Holland says that he was having dinner and having a good time, says he didn’t expect a shooter to come into the place and yet was quick enough to save the day.

Kevin said that there was this old guy and his old woman together and he was the first one to heroically jump at the shooter and ‘Slowed things down’. Holland did say that the old man saved his woman but probably didn’t know a whole lot about gun safety.
Kevin said that the only reason he jumped into the mix was that the old man sure did manage to turn the gun away from his wife but failed to take into account of the other people involved who were right in the line of fire. That is solely why Kevin says that he went ahead and did what he did since he knew that someone could really get hurt.
Kevin Holland on Ariel Helwani’s ‘The MMA hour’ thus said that he[Ariel] had to help amplify the message on contacting the old man and give him some tickets for a UFC event in Huston even though it comes out of ‘His own pocket’ and regardless of him fighting or not.
