UFC 264 has got the whole world pumped. And so is former US President Donald Trump. The event is headlined by a trilogy fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. In one of the most anticipated fights of the year, McGregor will be looking forward to exacting revenge for his loss against Poirier, earlier this year at UFC 257.
Aaron Bronsteter of TSN recently confirmed the names (through Dana White) of celebrities who will be in attendance for UFC 264. The most notable among them was former US President Donald Trump, who was recently relieved of his duties as the 45th President of the United States, after being beaten by Joe Biden.
Other notable celebrities were – sportstars Kevin Durant and Odell Beckham Jr. Hollywood stars Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly, Mel Gibson, Kourtney Kardashian and others. Canadian singer Justin Bieber who was in attendance at UFC 263, will once again be turning up for UFC 264.
UFC 264 main card is stacked
Bronsteter’s Tweet read, “45th U.S. President Donald Trump will be in attendance for UFC 264 this weekend per Dana White. As will Justin Bieber, Dave Chappelle, Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr., Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox, Mel Gibson, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker and many others.”
The card as a whole is stacked. The co-main event features a crucial welterweight battle between Stephen Wonderboy Thompson and Gilbert Burns. A win here for Wonderboy might even earn him a title shot, since he has been the only top-ranked welterweight who has never faced welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.
Sean O’Malley kicks off the main card. The rising bantamweight will be taking on Kris Moutinho who took up the fight on very short notice. UFC 264 will surely not disappoint.
