In the main event of UFC Vegas 19, number two ranked Heavyweight fighter Curtis Blaydes (14-2) entered the Octagon to face the number four ranked Heavyweight fighter Derrick Lewis (24-7). A win in this fight will possibly bring a title shot for the winner next.

Round 1: The main event started and Blaydes started circling Lewis, he lands the first shot by a kick. Lewis patiently moves outside and both of them exchanged some heavy shots. Blaydes closing in landing strikes and going back. He lands a clean jab and Lewis is hurt.

Blaydes scored again with a right hand and tags him well. Lewis complained of an eye poke and Herb Dean steps in and Blaydes apologized. Lewis lands a few kicks before the round ends.

Round 2: Blaydes tries to capitalize the lead of the first round and lands some punches on the body. He attempted a takedown followed by a fury of punches and Lewis lands a huge uppercut. Blaydes slammed on the canvas that’s it he is out. Lewis tagged some massive punches on the floor.

Herb Dean throw him out and Derrick Lewis knocked out Curtis Blaydes.
