UFC Vegas 30 main event featured a heavyweight clash atop the HW division. Number 3 ranked Ciryl Gane took on Number 5 ranked Alexander Volkov. Gane was coming into the fight, with a clean record of 8 wins and no losses in his MMA career. He is coming off a victory against the dangerous Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
Alexander Volkov, on the other hand, is on a two-fight win streak. He is coming off a brutal TKO victory over former UFC fighter Alistair Overeem.
