The biggest reaction was from the former lightweight champion and now coach, Khabib Nurmagomedov. The Eagle seemed to disagree with the judges’ scorecard as he believed Sandhagen was the true winner of the fight and he did not shy away from letting the world know about that.

“But anyway Sanhagen is a real deal He is a problem for anyone in the division,” wrote Khabib in his tweet.

You know this fight held a lot of significance when the title challenger and the titleholder are both tuned to see who emerges victorious in this fight. Petr Yan is excited that TJ won the fight given he is confident to beat Aljamain Sterling in the future title bout. “Respect to the warrior @TJDillashaw Beating you is always been my goal. This is my division now,” wrote Yan.

Aljo Sterling also had some words about the fight. “I think TJ gets the nod. I do wonder if that early cut from the right hand was that cut he had earlier in training camp,” wrote Sterling.

UFC commentator and analyst Michael Bisping also resonated the words of Khabib as he too believes Sandhagen got the better of the former champ today in the fight.

Another bantamweight superstar that reacted was, Cody Garbrandt. “No Love,” wrote “Let’s run it !!” by which we assume he meant he wants a fight with Cory Sandhagen.

Some of the other stars that reacted were former lightweight champ Rafael Dos Anjos, top bantamweight contender Dan Ige, and Niko Price.

Rob Font must’ve paid attention to this fight given Cory could possibly be his next opponent. Rob is also on a fantastic run as a fighter and put his name on the map with his last fight.
