Daniel Rodriguez is the man to step up against Kevin Lee in a short-notice fight at UFC Vegas 35.

He was initially scheduled to fight another welterweight prospect Sean Brady but the fighter withdrew from the fight due to an infection in the tendons in his right foot. While looking for another opponent, UFC has landed on up-and-comer Daniel Rodriguez who has decided to fill in on the short notice. This news was reported by ESPN.

With just a break of three weeks, he will be fighting against one of the top fighters in UFC this month. Daniel is 5-1 in his career with just one loss against Nicolas Dalby. He has wins against fighters like Mike Perry, Dwight Grant too.
Can Kevin Lee make a rebound against Daniel Rodriguez?
Kevin Lee was initially scheduled to take on Sean Brady in his first move to welterweight at UFC 264. But the bout was rescheduled to the August 28th event and now his opponent pulls out of the fight. On top of his bad stretch of fighting in lightweight in recent years which includes loss against the current champion Charles Oliveira, Rafael Dos Anjos, and Al Iaquinta in his last four bouts. The fighter badly needs a rebound to go back to being in his best form.
It has been over a year since “The Motown Phenom” fought. His last fight was in March 2020. Lee fell prey to injury as he had to undergo surgery on both legs. This has caused a major setback in his career. He has a record of 18-6-0 in his professional career. Do you think Lee can make a successful comeback against someone like Daniel?
