UFC Vegas 36 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event is headlined by a spectacular middleweight bout between Darren Till and Derek Brunson. As far as this bout is concerned, Tom Aspinall is finally getting the name and respect he deserves with his co-main event spot. He is coming off six consecutive wins in his MMA career and has three spectacular fights under the UFC banner. He is coming off a submission victory against former champion Andrei Arlovski.

Meanwhile, his opponent, Sergey Spivak has been in great form and is coming off three consecutive wins in the UFC. He has a career record of 13-2-0 in MMA. Round 1: The fight starts off with Aspinall putting on pressure and is very light on his feet. Excellent agility from Tom. Aspinall threw a right hand and lands. Spivak found it tough to land at the start of the fight. Aspinall was very fast in his movement. Spivak found it really tough to get hold of Aspinall. Sergey Spivak went for the clinch in the middle of the octagon.

Tom throws a knee to the body and a stunning elbow to the face of Spivak right after the knee was landed and Sergey is hurt real bad. Tom continued with his chase and continues with the punches. What a win for Aspinal. He has not taken a single shot in this fight.
