The main card of UFC Vegas 37 is here with an interesting women’s flyweight bout of Ariane Lipski vs Mandy Bohm.
UFC Vegas 37 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Nevada. The event is headlined by a spectacular light heavyweight fight between Anthony Smith and Ryan Spann. As far as this flyweight bout is concerned, Ariane Lipski is not in her best form. She fills in for Taila Santos in this fight today. She is coming off two KO losses and will look to bounce back from them and get on the winning charts. Ariane has a record of 13-7-0 in her professional MMA career.
As far as her opponent is concerned, Mandy Bohm makes her debut in the UFC riding on a seven-fight winning streak. She makes her debut after some fights getting canceled. Ariane Lipski puts on a show at UFC Vegas 37
Round 1: The Brazilian, Lipski began to put the pressure on as the bell rang. Mandy went for the trip but Lipski holds control and sets on top. Mandy goes for the body triangle that slows down the pace of the fight. The two fighters stand up and Lispki with a good jab. A right hook by Lipski that landed perfectly. Bohm with a clinch and Lipski with huge blows to the body with the knee. End of round.
Round 2: The second round starts with Lipski dominating the standup. The Brazilian throws a strong right that might have hurt Bohm. Mandy counters with a combo and a strong left hand that lands. Great timing from both the fighters. Mandy was not able to lot of strikes in a row. Both get into a clinch ad Lipski moves away. Ariane dropped her opponent but couldn’t get the finish as the round ends.
Round 3: A beautiful head kick by Lipski that starts the bleeding in Mandy’s nose. Bohm with a lot of swing and misses. Lipski calculated her strikes with impeccable timing. Lipski catches Bohm with a right hook and the German is down. Bohm is in the receiving end of a lot of damage but somehow stops Lipski from getting the TKO. Both the fighters are in a clinch. Both the fighters swinging and round ends in a clinch.
Results: Ariane Lipski def. Mandy Bohm via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
