Kevin Holland vs Kyle Daukaus
The Middleweight contest at UFC Vegas 38’s fight card witnessed a very unfortunate ending that has been rarely seen inside the Octagon. Kyle Daukaus choked out Kevin Holland in the very first round of their fight but in the end, this fight has been turned into no contest.
In between the fight, Holland got dropped by an accidental headbutt from Daukaus and the referee Dan Mirgaliotta called out for an instant reply. But Holland came back to his feet and Mirgaliotta let the fight continue, after that Kevin Holland tapped on the rear-naked choke from Kyle Daukaus.
After few moments, Mirgaliotta had words with the UFC officials, and after a healthy discussion with Herb Dean, Sean Shelby, and others this fight has been turned into no contest as Holland got dropped from that accidental head butt and all the things happened after that.

The former UFC two-division champion, Daniel Cormier who was calling the fights at UFC Vegas 38 says, “Flo fighters fight bro, we’re trained, we get hurt we fight. Unfortunately the blow that hurt was a unintentional clash of heads. Last week merab was knocked out but kept going. Difference is he got hit with legal shot. Kyle did what he was supposed to do and won but illegal.”
The UFC Bantamweight fighter, Marlon Vera says, “Ohhhh no fu*k” and UFC Middleweight contender, Derek Brunson added, “I know that Holland has a serious headache right now! That head butt was vicious” #UFCVegas 38″
Bryce Mitchell says, “Holland was a zombie out there. Went out, came back to life to keep fitin”. Sodiq Yusuff also shared his thoughts saying, “Suc*s for Holland. Last week there was a clash of heads with Ortega Volkanowski too that had a big impact on the fights momentum”.
