Andre Muniz registers a 1st round finish via submission to win against Fabinski at UFC Vegas 9.
A fight between two middleweights with impressive records going face to face in the octagon. Andre Muniz earnt the call-up after 2 wins on Dana White’s Contender Series.
First of them being a unanimous decision over Bruno Assis in 2018 and then a submission over Taylor Johnson in 2019. Whereas Bartosz returned to the octagon after 2018. When his 7-match won streak was ended by Michel Prazeres brutally.

As soon as the fight started Fabinski thought about taking the early charge. As he ran down towards Muniz, the latter gave him two hard punches. All Fabinski looked for was a takedown, but that wasn’t going to the case.
Muniz was got straining for a guillotine choke but he let go. The next action saw Muniz shooting up for an armbar, getting the better of Fabinski in a lightning quick and brutal submission.
With this win Muniz registered his second win in the UFC and 20th win in his professional MMA career.
