McGregor is the former UFC double champion of both the featherweight and the lightweight division of the UFC and is the first Irish UFC champion, the first fighter to hold 2 UFC belts simultaneously and the first UFC fighter to engage in a cross-promotional superfight- case in point, McGregor’s boxing match against Floyd Mayweather.
McGregor is currently 22-6 in his overall MMA career with 19 wins via knockouts and has secured wins over the likes of Donald Cerrone, Nate Diaz, Chad Mendes, Eddie Alvarez, Jose Aldo and many more. McGregor is however on a downfall for the past five years since he has only won only fight since 2016 and lost his last fight via doctor stoppage after the first round to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
