Sean Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev
Sean Strickland is here to remind you all why he is one of the fan-favorite fighters on the UFC fighters. The middleweight contender is effortlessly funny; this time, he shares the gym with Khamzat Chimaev, the rising welterweight/middleweight prospect.
There are not a lot of gyms in this world where Khamzat Chimaev is not the best fighter there and Sean Strickland is very aware of this. Recently Strickland had Khamzat, Darren Till, Chris Curtis, and other fighters training at the Las Vegas facility. Chimaev is currently training to fight Nate Diaz in a super fight at UFC 279 next month on September 10. The fight will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, and the Smesh Brothers are already in town for the fight.
Darren and Khamzat have been one of the best training duos in the UFC and have been training together for quite some time now. The Smesh brothers decided to train with fellow UFC middleweights, Strickland and Chris Curtis. This is not the first time these lots have trained together. However, every time Strickland and Khamzat are put together in a room, one can guarantee entertainment.

Sean Strickland jokes that Khamzat Chimaev is the best fighter of them all
Youtuber, Youcef Hollywood, got the opportunity to shoot the training session between all these amazing fighters up-close and show the world how UFC top fighters train with each other. The vlog is filled with amazing moments. You can see Sean taking command of who spars with whom and the fighter known to be delirious at all times is also seen advising up-and-coming fighters on fighting techniques.
In one moment of the training, Sean is seen talking to Khamzat and asking him to take it easy on the rest of the folks at the gym. To be fair, you wouldn’t want a Chimaev that is riled up for his fight to be coming at you with full force during a sparring session. It is still hilarious out of all people, Sean is the one to talk about “taking it easy” during sparring sessions given that the middleweight is notorious for going hard during his training.

“Be nice. Khamzat, listen, you’re better than everybody. Don’t hurt people,” said Sean as Khamzat laughs at him. Sean is coming off a devastating loss against Alex Pereira but seems to be in good spirits these days. Khamzat, on the other hand, could be looking at a potential title shot with a win against the Diaz brother in September.
