UFC 294 features the company’s annual return back to Abu Dhabi. The UFC always puts on a fantastic event in the Middle East every year. This year, Islam Makhachev headlines the event to defend his lightweight title. He will rematch Alexander Volkanovski with a home-crowd advantage.

Initially, Charles Oliveira defeated Beneil Dariush at UFC 289 to earn the title shot against Makhachev. However, he pulled out due to an injury, leading Volkanovksi to take his spot. Oliveira will have to wait another day to fight for the title. On the other hand, Volkanovski will get another chance at his quest to become a double champion.
