The UFC PPV commentary team mostly features the likes of Joe Rogan, Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik. If the event happens outside the United States, Rogan will not appear as he remains focused on his podcast. However, whenever he appears on the commentary team, he will likely create a memorable moment alongside DC and Anik. However, Joe Rogan lost it when a coach gave particular advice to his fighter in a PPV.
The Coach said, “You’re not gonna knock him out. He is a big ol’ Mexican with a big ol’ head. You understand? I need you to wake up, and I need you to get into the zone.” The coach was referring to Chris De La Rocha, a Mexican fighter in the UFC. The fight happened at UFC 225 against Rashad Coulter. However, La Rocha managed to get a TKO to win in the second round despite the cornerman’s advice.
Joe Rogan has a polarising appeal in the MMA community, with fight fans accusing him of favouring one fighter over the other. Fight fans lost it with Rogan during the Light Heavyweight Title fight between Jan Blachowics and Israel Adesanya, where Rogan kept on praising Adesanya for no reason. At one point, he said, “He’s hurting Jan with his faints,” drawing the anger of the MMA community. It is common knowledge that no one can hurt anyone with a faint, but Rogan did not think so.
However, in the fight between La Rocha and Coulter, Rogan could not hold back his laughter when the coach commented about the big head size of La Rocha. Despite the polarising commentary of Rogan, fight fans cannot deny that he brings forth memorable moments occasionally.

Joe Rogan got blasted for his commentary in Blachowics vs Adesanya fight
The main event of UFC 259 featured the first title defence of Jan Blachowics as the newly crowned Light Heavyweight Champion. He defended the title against the Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya. The Last Stylebender was on a quest to become a double champ, but the commentary team overshadowed the fight.
Fans blasted Joe Rogan for his commentary in support of Israel Adesanya. According to significant strikes landed, Adesanya may have won a single round, but Rogan did not see it that way. He continued to praise Adesanya despite Jan winning most of the striking exchanges.
In recent memory, this fight at UFC 259 remains the best example of a biased commentary from Rogan. Jan won the decision to retain his title and handed Adesanya his first professional MMA loss.
