Jon Jones has already left his mark on the sport of MMA with his achievements. He took the whole light heavyweight division by storm and became the youngest-ever champion in the history of UFC. Jon Jones’ brothers seem to be naturally gifted athletes like him.
Both of Jon Jones’ brothers are incredibly talented athletes and have made a name for themselves in the National Football League. Jon Jones’ younger brother Chandler Jones plays for the Las Vegas Raiders at the defensive end. He debuted with the New England Patriots and even won the super bowl with them in 2014. Furthermore, he has made it twice into the First Team All-Pro and thrice won the Pro Bowl.
Jon Jones’ elder brother Arthur Jones played on the defensive end. He made his NFL debut in 2010 with Baltimore Ravens and even won the Super Bowl with them in 2012. Arthur was signed by the Indianapolis Colts in 2014 and played for them for two seasons until being released in 2017. He joined the Washington Redskins in 2017, however, he missed the entire season because of a dislocated shoulder and eventually announced his retirement.
Born in a family of professional athletes pushed Jon Jones to do better with his own career. He has mentioned on several occasions the competitive environment inside his family which motivated him to always strive for more.

Being from a family with two professional NFL players, fans always ponder why Jon Jones didn’t get into Football. However, Jon Jones revealed why he never chose to follow in the footsteps of his brothers.
Speaking to TMZ Sports Jon Jones revealed that he was terrible at football and always found himself on the bench. Jones said, “I absolutely sucked on the football field. I was no good at all. I didn’t play until my senior year [of high school]. I was always on the team, but I never got to play. I sucked at football. I made a hell of a benchwarmer, though.”
Jon ‘Bones’ Jones might not have been like his brother but has definitely conquered the sports he chose as a career. He became a two-time UFC Light Heavyweight champion first from 2010 to 2015 and second from 2018 to 2020. On top of that, he has managed to stay unbeaten since 2010.

Jon Jones has displayed crazy strength inside the octagon against some of the toughest fighters of all time. However, the UFC legend’s power is only a taste of the kind of strength the Jones brother have. In an interview with Kevin Iole from Yahoo! Sports, Jones revealed how strong his brother Chandler Jones was.
Jones, who has always weighed upwards of 205 pounds in his career was once scared after learning how strong his younger brother was. The fighter while playfully trying to establish dominance in the household was lifted off the ground by Chandler. “And he just almost lifted me off my feet. I had never felt such strength,” said ‘Bones’ in the interview.
