In October of 2021, supposedly after his no-contest fight against Kyle Daukaus, he stopped an alleged carjacker from public nuisance. He chased the man down and subdued him until the police arrived.
In March of 2022, Holland used his Jiu-Jitsu skills to subdue a shooter in Texas. The event happened in a restaurant in Houston. Holland and his training partner heard gunshots from a restaurant and rushed there to stop the shooter from causing more damage. He tackled the shooter and subdued him with a Rear-Naked Choke until police arrived.
The UFC fighter rescued a man from an overturned tractor-trailer in May 2022. He saw a man lose control of his vehicle, sliding off the embankment and flipping over. Immediately, Holland got out of his car and dragged the man from his vehicle, fearing that some explosion would happen due to the leaked fluid from the vehicle.
