Why will Joe Rogan not have Donald Trump on his podcast?
Over the years of running 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast host Joe Rogan has had a bunch of polarizing figures on the show.

The Joe Rogan Experience has become one of the most famous and influential podcasts on the planet. What started as making videos for Joe Rogan‘s website in 2003 eventually transitioned to the podcast format which listeners love today. Since 2009, the show has come a long way captivating millions of listeners and gaining immense popularity for its diverse range of guests.
With the popularity of the podcasts, Joe Rogan acquired a Spotify deal that made him worth over $200 million. ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ is also one of the most streamed podcasts on Spotify due to the diverse range of guests and the multitude of topics it includes. Over the years, Joe Rogan has had many polarizing figures on his podcast.
With a few controversial guests come controversial statements and fans of the podcast are well aware of it. Rogan’s podcast was also on the verge of being canceled due to the controversial nature of a few podcasts. However, the podcast is too big to fall and to this day enjoys streams in millions.
While Rogan is able to bring together an incredibly diverse range of guests, there are some that he does not want on the podcast. Amongst the list, the most recognizable is the former President of the U.S.A. Donald Trump.
Does Joe Rogan support Donald Trump?
While the far left considers Rogan to be leaning on the conservative side, Rogan believes he does not sit on one side of the spectrum. He holds a wide variety of political views and cannot easily be categorized into left or right. Joe Rogan does not support Donald Trump and explained many times that he is not a Trump supporter in any way, shape, or form. Despite that, Joe Rogan does agree with some of Donald Trump’s statements and respects him as a person.
Rogan has also mentioned that he would vote for Donald Trump before voting for the current President of the U.S.A., Joe Biden. The UFC color commentator also recognizes what Trump has done for UFC and wholeheartedly respects Donald Trump for it. Despite all of this, Joe Rogan has turned down Trump’s request to be on his podcast. Rogan remains rigid on this decision and won’t be changing it anytime soon.
Why is Joe Rogan hesitant about having Donald Trump on his podcast?
It is clear that Joe Rogan is not an avid Trump supporter but he also does not hate Donald Trump with a burning passion. Rogan agrees with many of Trump’s statements and respects him as a person. However, Rogan has turned down many requests from Donald Trump’s team to have him on the show.
During Joe Rogan’s appearance on The Lex Fridman podcast, the UFC color commentator called Donald Trump a polarizing figure. He also deemed Trump an existential threat to democracy. ” I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once, I’ve said no every time. I don’t want to help him, I’m not interested in helping him,” said Rogan.
Rogan also believes that many will attack Donald Trump and his supporters even if they had to abandon their morals. “So many people felt like they could abandon their own ethics and morals and principles just to attack him and anybody who supports him,” added Rogan.
Despite Rogan’s unwillingness to host the former President of the U.S.A., Donald Trump himself thinks Joe Rogan is a great guy. Trump came to Rogan’s backing when he was accused of being a racist and appreciated him during their meeting.
