After more than a month's hiatus, Roman Reigns made his much-needed presence felt on Raw, which emanated from Madison Square Garden in NYC.

It took him a while, but Roman Reigns is back, and he means business. The OTC crashed the main event of this week’s Raw at MSG—a steel cage match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins. In a reel posted by WWE on Instagram, one could see Seth getting wrecked by Reigns from behind.

The cage door was open, and Roman used it to his advantage. He put Seth in a chokehold for a split second before dragging him out of the steel structure. Reigns planted his former Shield brother with a Superman Punch and a spear at ringside. But here’s the kicker.

Roman’s actions handed Rollins the win against Punk via escaping the cage. The Tribal Chief didn’t seem to care at all. He turned the heat on Rollins and even planted the latter with a curb stomp of his own, which was a receipt for couple of those Seth hit on Reigns at Royal Rumble.

The erstwhile Shield members were simultaneously tossed over the top rope by CM Punk. Speaking of the latter, he now has registered a singles loss against Seth, doesn’t matter if he wasn’t pinned. The Best in the World hasn’t been able to get the better of the man who used to admire the Chicagoan back in the day.

Last weekend, The Architect cost Punk his last opportunity to get inserted into the world title picture for WrestleMania 41. A few days later on Raw, Punk and Seth were engaged in numerous pull-apart brawls throughout the show. Their beef was supposed to end this Monday within the confines of a steel cage. But things have only escalated, one would feel.

Roman Reigns caught Paul Heyman sympathizing CM Punk on Raw

Everyone knew that Roman Reigns was going to rattle Seth Rollins, and it happened on Raw. But that wasn’t it. The more compelling part of The OTC’s return was when he realized that his wiseman, Paul Heyman, was comforting CM Punk. Heyman went unnoticed the entire time Reigns was toying with The Visionary.

However, once the cameras did pan back into the steel cage, a crestfallen Punk had Heyman’s shoulder to cry on, literally. That, of course, bothered Heyman’s client. Reigns went inside and slammed Punk’s face first into steel before spearing the 46-year-old in half.

And just like that, The Head of the Table did his signature taunt with a sold-out Garden going bonkers for him. It’s clear as daylight that Reigns, Punk, and Rollins are on a collision course. The rumors of their triple threat showdown at WrestleMania were floating around for a while. That being said, the story has started to play out on TV as well.
