The first SmackDown episode on the USA Network was chaotic, to say the least. It was filled with incredible matches and amazing segments, one of which featured the comeback of Roman Reigns. In a surprising twist, the Original Tribal Chief teamed up with his longtime rival Cody Rhodes to take on the common enemy, Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline.
After all the dust settled and SmackDown went off-air, The American Nightmare showed why he is the people’s champion. As usual, Cody Rhodes greeted the fans and took pictures with them. The Undisputed WWE Champion is loved by the WWE Universe, and the top positions on merchandise sales month after month are a prime example of that.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, WWE CCO Triple H acknowledged the fans. The show started with the 38-year-old star defending his title against Solo Sikoa in a steel cage match. Although the new Tribal Chief gave him a tough fight, Rhodes emerged as the winner. However, when The Bloodline entered the cage to attack the champ, Roman Reigns returned to fend them off.
The record champion was absent from wrestling after being annihilated by Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. Recently, fans were excited to see the potential matchup between Reigns and his former enforcer after WWE released the official poster for Survivor Series: WarGames. Only time will tell what transpires in the future.
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will team up against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood
On the latest episode of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa challenged Rhodes and Reigns to a tag team match against him and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood. At first, The American Nightmare refused, saying he was done with The Bloodline. However, the circumstances forced them to come together.
In the main event, OTC came out with the SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis and addressed the WWE Universe. Reigns talked about how he didn’t need the help of his WrestleMania rival and would remain the only Tribal Chief in WWE. The champ soon joined them in the ring, but before they could do anything Solo and Fatu came out.
Tama and Loa tried to attack them but were effectively taken out by the duo. Initially, both Rhodes and Reigns refused to team up with each other but reluctantly signed the contract. The duo is set to face Solo and Fatu in an eagerly anticipated tag team match at Bad Blood PLE. Fans are already excited to see how the bitter rivals will team up.
