The news that Valkyrae and CouRage become co-owners of 100 Thieves is now public. Dr Disrespect thinks that this news is more of a PR move by 100-Thieves. He says,
“I think they made it more of a PR thing. It’s not like CouRage is getting 25 percent and Valkyrae is getting like 25 percent. You know what I mean. I think they’re probably getting 1 percent, maybe that. Maybe 2 percent stake and ownership. That would be my guess. So then they just decided to make it a big PR move, and there’s your views and impressions.”

The popular streamer understands that this is part of business and this may be the best move by the esports company. However, he also added this will have a positive impact on the content creating community as a whole.
The only main question on Dr Disrespect’s mind is the amount of shares the two streamers have in the 100-Thieves company. They have been announced as co-owners but the actual percentage of shares they may be very small.
100-Thieves is one of the biggest esports organisations and is owned by Nadeshot. Valkyrae and CouRage have been a part of the 100-Thieves since 2018 and 2019. They are both very huge on Twitch and are a part o f the top group of content creators in the world.
Now they join others like Drake, Dan Gilbert and Scooter Braun as the co-owners of the 100-Thieves banner. From here on, time will tell the impact of this assimilation on the esports and streaming community.
