Valorant may be teasing a new Indian Agent

The game’s developers have included a diverse set of Valorant agents, representing various ethnicities and encouraging cultural diversity. The 5v5 multiplayer FPS game has gone viral and received a lot of praise. It goes without saying that it has many fans in India.
On July 29, 2022, the new PBE 5.03 was made available to everyone. Soon after, Floaxy, a Valorant Dataminer, teased with a screenshot of an email from Fade. The message concerned the Range in PBE 5.03.
The email serves as an interactive object in-game that reveals more game backstory and teases upcoming content. Similar to that, this email may be making reference to a brand-new agent with Indian ancestry named Varun Batra.

Riot adds a new email to The Range in PBE 5.03, possibly hinting to the arrival of an Indian-origin Valorant agent
Varun Batra, the “Legion’s new power source,” is mentioned in the communication from Fade and could enter the game as a new agent. Fade has learned some information about Legion, a public operation from Omega Earth, and its new hire. More information on Varun’s history and connection to REALM was given by the Turkish initiator.
REALM is “a international task group retrieving historical artefacts from the black market trade,” as Fade stated in the email. She does, however, express concern in her email about Legion employing an antiquities specialist. This might allude to the subsequent Omega Earth agent.
Varun Batra, who is he?
The Indian Hindu god “Varuna,” also known as the God of the Oceans, and Varun’s name are closely related. In fact, the term “Varuna” in Buddhist mythology translates to the Japanese name “Suiten,” which denotes the God of water. This suggests that the upcoming Valorant agent might have a water-based toolset.
The addition of a new agent who makes allusions to Indian Vedic mythology will increase the game’s appeal to Indian players. It will be intriguing to watch how the character’s design will be authenticated by Riot Games’ developers.
Riot has previously hired a number of Asian agents, including Jett (South Korea), Sage (China), Yoru (Japan), and Neon (The Philippines). The arrival of the Indian agent will make him the fifth Asian on the team, continuing that trend.
The new hire’s identity has not yet been made public in any other detail. The Indian agent might enter the game soon if the rumours are accurate.
That being said, as Act 1 nears its conclusion, more information will become available. Players will soon get access to The Range and the email pertaining to the Indian Valorant agent thanks to the upcoming patch 5.03 release.
