Valorant Patch Notes 3.05: New Map, Nerfs, and Bug Fixes

VALORANT Patch Notes 3.05
Valorant Patch 3.05 has been released in an official blog by Valorant, and apart from bringing the new act changes with a new map, it contains added features in the game that the community has been asking for long, like immortal 1,2,3 tiers and some important nerfs/buffs to Agents like Killjoy, Raze, Sova and some important in-game changes as well. This patch adds more consistency to the damage that abilities deal with opposing abilities
AGENT UPDATES
Raze
Raze has undergone a serious nerf once again, considering her boom bot will now deal maximum damage of 80 instead of 125 and minimum damage of 30 instead of 50. To balance this serious nerf, the cost has been reduced to 300 from 400 creds.
Breach
Breach’s Aftershock now deals damage to the following:
- Killjoy Alarm Bot
- Killjoy Nanoswarm
- Killjoy Lockdown
- Cypher Tripwire
- Reyna Leer
- Sage Barrier Orb
- Sova Recon Bolt
- KAY/O Zero/Point

Brimstone
Brimstone’s Orbital Strike now deals damage to the following:
- Killjoy Nanoswarm
- Cypher Trapwire
- Sage Barrier Orb
- Sova Recon Bolt
- KAY/O Zero/Point
Sova
Sova’s Hunter’s Fury now deals damage to the following:
- Killjoy Nanoswarm
- Cypher Trapwire
- Sage Barrier Orb
- Sova Recon Bolt
- KAY/O Zero/Point
Killjoy
Killjoy’s turret has undergone a serious nerf, considering her turret has faced bullet tagging reduction from a 72.5-percent slow to a 29.5-percent slow, which will considerably make the turret more of an intel-gathering ability rather than a damaging one.
Valorant Patch notes 3.05 MAP UPDATES
The new map Fracture is finally live on the Valorant server, and a Fracture only queue will be live for 2 weeks, after which Fracture will enter other modes, including Competitive.
COMPETITIVE UPDATES
Immortal Ranks
The previously deleted tiers of Immortal 1,2, and 3 have been re-introduced to the game along with an update in ranked grouping restrictions.
- The Ranked grouping restrictions has been updated to accommodate return of Immortal 1/2/3:
- Diamond 1 → Immortal 1
- Diamond 2 → Immortal 2
- Diamond 3 → Immortal 3
PROGRESSION UPDATES
PREMIUM BATTLEPASS BONUS XP
Players will now receive a 3% XP boost for upgrading to the premium tier battlepass for all matchmade games until the end of the upcoming Act 2, which will not apply to daily or weekly missions. This is not retroactive, so upgrading early will give you access to the most amount of XP.
SOCIAL UPDATES
Players will now be barred from gaining XP or Account level by being AFK in deathmatch or snowball fight modes through an updated AFK Detection Logic.
PERFORMANCE UPDATES
The ping calculation and the markers have been updated to exclude the server frame time, used by NVIDIA Reflex respectively.
BUGS

AGENTS
- Fixed a bug where concurrent, overlapping ally and enemy Viper smoke could cause the nearsight and decay to never remove
- Fixed a bug where Omen could become stuck in other objects if they were blocking the return location of From the Shadows
- Omen will no longer equip his weapon slower than intended after casting Dark Cover
- Astra will no longer equip her weapon slower than intended after exiting Astral Form
- Fixed KAY/O’s NULL/cmd waves from destroying the glass on Ascent
COMPETITIVE
- Fixed a bug that would cause the Leaderboard to infinitely load when searching for a specific player.
ESPORTS FEATURES
- For Coaches, the Loading screen should now properly display all of the Agent select information (Agent compositions of both teams, etc)
- Fixed an issue where Observer Moderators could not see the pause match timer option if they disconnected and then reconnected during a round
