Valorant: Skye to hit all servers on November 2nd and Patch 1.11 on Rollback
Valorant latest patch went live on all servers on 27th October 2020. It was a disaster; players were very unhappy with patch 1.11.
The update came with a bug that has forced Riot to roll back the patch now. This bug could imperil the competitive game to all players. This bug might have imperiled North America’s First Strike NSG qualifiers.
What the Developers have got to say:
Riot in a tweet said they will roll back the patch in LATAM (One at a time) and delay the release in all other regions. Players were expecting a new map and agent to release in patch 1.11.
They Continued:
“We’ll redeploy later in the week once we can figure out a less disruptive time for the Valorant First Strike Qualifiers (and have a solution, obviously). If you started the Skye character contract, you won’t be able to progress until we patch again.”
The update will be coming out soon on November 2nd
Those players waiting to get their hands on Reaver skin have to wait a bit longer. Until then you can unlock the new agent and try it out.
Skye to hit servers on 2nd November:
“Skye will be immediately available post-patch, and Reaver will be available in the store the day after the patch.”
Valorant Developers are very punctual in releasing the patch Updates. But in exceptional cases like this they delay it.
Players are eagerly waiting for the new agent to release and try out its abelites in game.
The Valorant Devs Wrote:
“This has been A Week, but we have a stable patch to ship beginning 8 am PT on Monday (2nd November). The Americas will go first, then we’ll roll out to KR/JP/OCE/SEA and EU/TR/MENA/CIS regions thereafter. This shouldn’t disrupt our regular patch schedule, so expect a small one next week.”
