On March 27, Woods was involved in a two-vehicle rollover crash near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida. He was subsequently arrested by the police officers and charged with three counts of misdemeanor, including driving under the influence.

It was later reported that the golfer had two white pills, hydrocodone, in his left pocket. His mugshot from the whole chaos has become one of the most viral images of the past month, filling up tabloid spaces and t-shirts.

Woods’ history of scandals and motor-vehicle accidents thrust him once again into the middle of controversy, and reports suggested that the latest one not only left him with eight hours in jail but also made him single. It was initially speculated that Vanessa Trump and Woods broke up amid the latest controversy.

However, the latest information from TMZ through their verified sources has put an end to the speculation at some level. The sources said that the pair continues to be a couple and there has been no fighting, especially no talk of breaking up, though they have discussed the incidents of March 27 in detail. Furthermore, they added that the former model is, in fact, quite supportive of her boyfriend as he navigates how to get back on his feet.

The golfer recently appeared in the second game of the three-game finale of the TMRW TGL held in Miami. Woods, who’s a co-founder of this revolutionary format of golf, was also a member of the Jupiter Links GC who faced the Los Angeles GC in the final.

The crash occurred on Jupiter Island when Woods’ Land Rover clipped a trailer as a truck was turning into a driveway. In the footage, a deputy instructs Woods to remain at the scene, to which he casually responds about his phone call. Moments later, Woods is seen holding his phone, walking away, and saying “thank you, thank you,” before ending the call.

Authorities have since charged Woods with driving under the influence, adding further scrutiny to the situation. It remains unclear whether Woods was referring to Donald Trump. However, Trump stated in an interview that he had spoken with Woods after the crash, describing him as “doing good” despite living “a life of pain.” The White House is yet to issue an official comment on the matter.
