Before Donald Trump arrived for his rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, a couple of Steelers’ finest entertained his supporters with their presence. It was none other than Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell.
The two former Steelers took photographs with the crowd as if they were tailgating before a football game outside of Acrisure. It’s unclear whether Trump personally invited Brown to attend the event, but he did give the all-pro receiver a few minutes to address his followers.
The Super Bowl winner went off against Trump’s rival and Democrat candidate, Kamala Harris. He even invented a nickname for Harris’ running partner, Tim Walz.
Brown stuck around until the end of the event and later caught up with Trump. A clip on X (previously known as Twitter) captured an awkward moment between the two when Brown leaned in to hug the former President.

It’s reminiscent of Aaron Rodgers’ now infamous rejection of ex-Jets head coach Robert Saleh on live television. Coincidentally, the Steelers are scheduled to play against the Jets on Sunday in a crucial Week 7 matchup. According to several reports, Trump will be present at Acrisure.

Steelers’ front office’s statement regarding Donald Trump’s presence at Acrisure on Sunday
While the rally was in full swing, the Steelers spokesman and senior director of communications, Burt Lauten, posted a statement regarding increased security at the game.

With former President Trump expected to attend Sunday night’s game as a guest of an individual suite holder, we are working with Secret Service and local authorities to ensure the safety and security of all our fans.

Lauten also advised fans to come to the stadium as early as possible to avoid congestion due to increased security.
We encourage fans to arrive early to the parking lots so that they can enjoy our pre-game experience and our celebrations throughout the game that will honor the 50th anniversary of our Super Bowl IX team.

The 78-year-old also attended the Alabama-Georgia game last month. He was with the former first lady and his wife Melania as they resided at the VIP suit. Unlike their week 7 defeat to Tennessee, Bama recorded a come-from-behind 41-34 win against the Bulldogs.
While Bama went down to their second loss of the season on the same day as Trump’s rally, Georgia capped off a sensational win against the #1-ranked Texas Longhorns in Texas. Regardless of the college football results, all eyes will be on the Steelers-Jets game.
