Victor Wembanyama, the 2023-24 NBA Rookie of the Year, recently responded to a comment from an internet troll that was posted nearly four years ago. The comment, made in October 2020, doubted Wembanyama’s ability to succeed in the NBA.

Wembanyama proved the troll wrong with his impressive rookie season, where he produced one of the best rookie seasons in NBA history. He became the first player to record at least 1500 points, 700 rebounds, 250 assists, 250 blocks, and 100 made three-pointers in a season.

The internet user wrote in 2020, “He not gone do none of that in the NBA.” After the historic rookie season that he had, think Wemby had enough of reply material to give it back to this troll.
