Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz are one of the most dynamic duos at the pinnacle of motorsport. They have been in top form for the Maranello-based team, securing 496 points so far this season. They finished 1-2 spectacularly at the US GP last week.
Sainz and Leclerc were seen interacting with a few of the lucha libre wrestlers, who offered them special masks. Masks are worn by freestyle wrestlers in Mexico to hide their original identity and also pay homage to the traditions.
The Ferrari duo indulged in some friendly tussle and banter with the wrestlers in the ring as well. They will now look forward to delivering a good run in the upcoming race, which will greatly determine the team’s hopes in the constructors’ championship.
Charles Leclerc labels penalties by the FIA at the United States GP as harsh
The United States Grand Prix proved to be an action-packed race featuring close battles and action-packed performances. Nevertheless, it was the penalties that grabbed the most attention during the race in Austin.

Charles Leclerc was among many others who criticized the penalties as unfair on the FIA’s part in Austin. He feels that a thorough discussion must be held with the FIA to arrive at a common approach hereon.
Having said that, I feel like there are a few things maybe in Austin that I have seen that we may have to discuss with the FIA because I feel like the penalties sometimes were a little bit too harsh. We’ve got to make sure we’re all aligned – the FIA and us drivers to make sure it’s clear what we can do or cannot do. When I am saying that it’s more about Oscar’s overtake on the Saturday which for me didn’t really deserve a penalty.
