A shocking training video of Manchester City emerged on social media, showing four of the club’s star players missing penalties, despite there being no goalkeeper. Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish, Phil Foden and Ilkay Gundogan were the four players who missed from 12 yards out.
Manchester City have been enduring a tough time this season, with the club having won just one out of their last nine matches. The defending Premier League champions look seemingly out of the title race, after having fallen eight points behind league leaders Liverpool. Pep Guardiola’s side is currently in the 4th position on the EPL table with 27 points. Amidst the recent slump, Manchester City’s attacking unit has also been out of form, having scored just 12 times in their last nine matches.
Man City recently offered its fans the opportunity to watch the players train through a YouTube live stream. However, fans had a laugh as four club stars failed to score penalties, despite the goal remaining unguarded.
Phil Foden stepped up first to take a spot-kick. However, his attempt blazed over the crossbar. Ilkay Gundogan came next, as he sent his left-footed shot wide away from the post. Jack Grealish’s effort also went above the post, while City front-man Erling Haaland curled the ball towards the top corner.
So, Man City were practising penalties during an open training session ahead of the Manchester Derby this weekend.

Nonetheless, despite these setbacks, Pep Guardiola will be hoping for his players to return to the form against Juventus. Man City face the Italian giants, hoping to claim their third European win this season. The club is currently 20th in the UCL table with just eight points.
Pep Guardiola rules out managing another club following Manchester City stint
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola stated that he might not join another club, after his stint with the EPL giants comes to an end. The Spaniard most recently, signed a two-year contract extension with the club that will now extend his stay at Man City until 2027.

Speaking on his plans post-City, Guardiola informed that he would not manage any other club. He turned down the idea of traveling to a new country and starting afresh with a new club. He admitted that he would not have the energy to do so. However, the 53-year-old did not deny the possibility of him taking up a national team position in the future.
I am not going to join another team, I’m not going to leave to go to another country. I won’t have the energy… To think about starting again, the whole process of training – no, no.

This effectively plays down rumors linking the Spaniard manager with a sensational move to his former side FC Barcelona in the future. Meanwhile, Guardiola will definitely leave behind a glorious legacy at Man City, having won 15 major titles with the club.
