Hall of Fame-worthy Jason Kelce may have hung his cleats, but he remains closely connected to the game of football. Whether be it broadcasting the NFL games as an ESPN analyst or taking up a kicking game on College Game Day, he is enjoying his post-retirement time.
However, during his visit to Penn State on Saturday, a bizarre encounter happened with one of the students which compelled the legendary NFL center to break the student’s phone. The incident took place when Kelce was walking on his way to the stadium, carrying a cart of Garbage beer in his hand.
While most of the students called his name or asked for a fistbump, a student approached the former Philadelphia Eagles center with his phone camera turned on and made a disrespectful remark about his brother Travis Kelce, and his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift.
“Kelce how does it feel that your brother is a f****t for dating Taylor Swift?”

Though Jason was minding his own business until that moment, the bizarre question prompted him to stop and confront the student directly. In a moment of anger, Jason snatched the phone from him and slammed it onto the ground, shattering it.
Witnesses at the incident described the incident as chaotic as also seen in the clips getting viral on the internet. This outburst by Jason has come amid the heightened media on the Kelce brothers due to Jason’s new broadcasting career and Travis’ underwhelming performance this season which is being blamed on his ladylove.
Jason Kelce gets reality check on field goals
Well, it wasn’t a good day for the six-time All-Pro center as he had to bid goodbye to his kicking career. It happened after Jason faced an embarrassing defeat in Pat McAfee’s kicking challenge on ESPN’s College GameDay, attempting a field goal.
Jason was challenged by a Cal student named Daniel, who made the kick last month, to try the field goal in his Timberland boots. Unfortunately, the Super Bowl champion couldn’t succeed and admitted, “I’ve got a whole new respect…I suck at kicking, okay!”
This was also a reality check to the legendary center over his previous comment of calling field goals “too easy” nowadays. He missed the goals both times, that was too wide from the target.
