The Philadelphia Eagles went from a franchise on the brink of collapse to World Champions in a year. Head Coach Nick Sirianni who was taking heat after several reports suggested the existence of tensions between him and Jalen Hurts is now one of the most loved individuals in Philadelphia.

Despite the duality of love and hate displayed towards him by Philadelphia fans, Nick Sirianni‘s humility and character were on full display at the team’s Super Bowl parade. The packed event required hundreds of police officers to be vigilant to avoid tragedy and ensure the celebrations went through smoothly.

Apart from the shooting incident which was quickly brought under control by the police, the Eagles Super Bowl parade faced no hiccups. Nick Sirianni made sure to shake the hand of each and every police officer on the way to express his gratitude for their service in ensuring the team’s safety.

Philadelphia’s law enforcement officers had a rough time dealing with drunk fans

Controlling crowds is no easy task and when the crowd is filled with passionate Philadelphia fans, then buckle up because it is bound to be a Herculean task. However, the police officers were up for the task and performed their duty. They managed to keep the drunk fans at bay and had some fun of their own in the process.

A few cops reenacted the Eagles’ iconic tush push play during the parade amidst loud cheers from the crowds. Nick Sirianni’s gesture was much appreciated. The Head Coach has turned his image around in a few months. Early on in the season, he stirred controversy after he began to take jibes at Eagles fans who were calling for him to be fired.

However, all is well now and the HC has established himself to be a role model and good samaritan within the community. The city of Philadelphia adores athletes and coaches who make an effort to connect with the community apart from achieving success on the field. It is heartwarming to see Sirianni gain the positive recognition he deserves and props to him for his small yet kind gesture.
