Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has been working on a film based on Formula 1. The highly-anticipated project starring Brad Pitt alongside Damson Idris will be soon released worldwide in theaters and in IMAX by Warner Bros. Ahead of the release, Idri recalled getting teased by Hamilton.

Damson Idris discussed his upcoming film centered on Formula 1 during an interview. He was asked about the influence of Lewis Hamilton in his preparation and performance as a driver. The 33-year-old recounted the humorous side of Hamilton which involved teasing him before the race at Silverstone.

Idris stated that Hamilton jokingly teased him by saying that whenever he felt slow on the track, he would tell himself that at least he was not as slow as Idris. This highlighted the seven-time-world champion’s sense of humor and showed that he was open to making fun of himself while playfully poking fun at Idris’ driving skills.
